Project Overview

This project is a large-scale mixed-use development brought to life through the powerful partnership of renowned Australian developers Payce and Sekisui House Australia. Four times the size of Payce's East Village in Zetland (a key development precinct in Sydney's CBD), it offers unlimited potential for future capital growth.

The project's design team drew inspiration from many of the world's most captivating cities, including New York, Copenhagen and Barcelona, to create this one-of-a-kind landmark precinct. The historic site of the former Peters' Ice Cream Factory sits at its heart, where a rich sense of history blends seamlessly with contemporary style, adding an exciting new element to the vibrant and colourful West End.

Stage 2 of the project is the Japanese developer's debut release, comprising 163 residences across two towers connected by a 1,000 m² floating garden forest rooftop. The North Gallery has 53 residences and the South Gallery has 110 residences. The North Tower was released first for internal sales, with completion expected in January 2020. The South Tower was released in June, with completion expected in July 2020. The project features north–south-facing buildings with four levels of underground parking, allocated as follows: one car space for each one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment, and two car spaces for each three-bedroom and four-bedroom apartment.

North Gallery amenities include: a heated swimming pool, a garden conservatory, a library, a cinema and a private dining room with a catering kitchen. International fashion icon Akira Isogawa was commissioned to provide the landscape design for the building.

Interior finishes include: 2.7 m ceiling heights, ducted air conditioning, stone benchtops, feature cabinetry, brushed nickel tapware and Miele kitchen appliances, with three- and four-bedroom apartments featuring double fireplaces.

Investment Outlook

Brisbane is the capital city of Queensland, located in Australia's north-east. It is bordered by the Sunshine Coast to the north and the international tourist destination of the Gold Coast to the south. Brisbane is a rapidly growing city with a population of over 2.15 million, making it Australia's third-largest metropolitan area by population. With annual economic growth of 4%, Brisbane has overtaken Sydney (2.2%) and Melbourne (2.9%) to become Australia's fastest-growing city. Over the next 20 years, its total economic output is expected to double and its population to exceed 4.6 million.

Research by CoreLogic shows that property prices in Brisbane's inner-city suburbs have grown rapidly over the past decade, with West End leading the way at 121% growth over the past ten years. The median price rose from A$493,000 in 2006 to A$1,090,000 today.

With an average house price exceeding A$1,000,000, Brisbane's inner-city suburb of West End has reached twice the overall average house price for Brisbane, clearly demonstrating West End's pivotal position within Brisbane's thriving property market. In addition, West End's population continues to grow at 5.1% per year, far exceeding most of Brisbane's inner-city suburbs — a testament to its strong appeal. As the resident population continues to grow, increasingly mature and well-developed infrastructure will follow, bringing immeasurable capital growth potential to the property you invest in here.
