Brisbane's Rochedale has been one of the areas prioritised for development by the Queensland Government since 2012. Property prices in the area have risen year on year over the past four years, with the average price reaching A$960,000 in the first half of 2016. As the Government's urban planning is further implemented and its involvement intensifies, the area continues to attract the attention of property developers across Queensland. Numerous emerging civic centres, shopping and entertainment complexes, large malls, and road upgrade projects are all progressing in a closely coordinated manner. The construction of the integrated commercial complex in the Rochedale Town Centre area is due for completion in 2019 and will be built and put into use within the next year or two. Rochedale Town Centre will become the area's commercial hub and transport interchange. The centre's development will provide Rochedale residents with brand-new services and facilities, including restaurants, cafés, shops, parks, as well as newly planned roads and car parks, thereby driving the lasting growth of community interaction.

Located in Brisbane's south-east, this project sits alongside the southern region's largest shopping centres, Westfield Garden City and Westfield Carindale, and is one of the closest new upmarket local suburbs to the Chinese community hub of Sunnybank. With a full range of restaurants and entertainment facilities, plus well-established medical and education resources, it is particularly popular with high-income local Chinese buyers. At the same time, this is one of the largest development projects currently close to the Brisbane CBD, just 15 km from the city centre and only minutes from Brisbane's major motorway exits onto the Pacific Motorway and the Gateway Motorway.
