Construction of the leisure centre is now underway and is expected to be completed by mid-2019, with a total investment of A$4,000,000.

The project is just 4.1 km from the renowned private school A. B. Paterson College — a 5-minute drive — and buses run directly from Helensvale Station, next to the project, to the school. From the project you can also take the light rail directly to the Gold Coast campus of Griffith University.

A few minutes' drive takes you to several theme parks—Dreamworld, Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild.
