Ripley Valley, a Priority Development Area in Queensland

Those who read our previous article will already have a basic understanding of Queensland's Priority Development Areas. Today, Aobo Realty continues by introducing the emerging south-western township of Ripley Valley.

The Queensland Economic Development Board declared Ripley Valley a Priority Development Area on 8 October 2010. It is also Australia's largest master-planned community, as reflected in the following:

1. Development area: The project spans more than 4,600 hectares and, once completed in early 2040, will accommodate 120,000 residents.

2. Population growth rate: According to government website surveys, Ripley is one of the fastest-growing areas in Australia, with its population increasing at 7.2% per year. By 2041, the resident population is expected to exceed 140,000.

3. Employment growth: Ripley is also one of the areas with the greatest employment growth. Beyond the job opportunities within the area itself, Ripley connects two major employment hubs — the Ipswich centre and the Springfield centre.

4. Educational resources: There are 7 schools in and around the area, including both public and private schools, and Ripley Valley's secondary and primary schools are currently under construction.
