Australia's Top 10 Most Liveable Suburbs Ranked, Brisbane Named the Best City

According to new data released by realestate.com.au, if you are considering living in Australia, you should steer clear of places such as Sydney, Tasmania and Canberra.

Researchers looked closely at lifestyle factors for every city in Australia — including commute time to the CBD and proximity to beaches, schools and parks — to determine the best places to live, forming the top 50 areas.

In the top ten, not a single suburb from Sydney, Canberra or Tasmania made the list. Coming in first was Melbourne's St Kilda, where the median house price has reached as high as A$2,615,000.

Two Brisbane suburbs, South Brisbane and Dutton Park, ranked among the top three, and Brisbane had as many as 7 suburbs in the top ten. The lowest median house price among these suburbs was just A$731,000.
